We are proud to present these two wonderful rental houses for you to enjoy this summer.

Kouvarata consists of two self-catering stone houses located in Stavros Village. The houses were built from original stone from old ruins that were on the land and then re-purposed to construct these authentic and traditional guest houses.

Both houses are similar in layout and design. They both have stone décor, have a light and airy atmosphere with contemporary features and fixtures. They consist of an open-plan kitchen and lounge area, bathroom and a double bedroom with a sleeper couch in both houses. The larger house has a mezzanine level in which there is a loft area that can sleep an additional three people.

The outdoor areas are unique in that there is a lush grass area which can be enjoyed by all the guests. There are olive trees that provide shade and there hangs an inviting hammock for those much needed siesta’s. Both houses share the outdoor spaces and there are barbecue facilities for everyone to use.

Below this area is the newly added large swimming pool, with a smaller children’s splash pool next to it. This area, is very private and peaceful, a hidden oasis of the whole property. There is a large area with sunbeds for tanning, and to the left of the swimming pool, a more relaxed lounge area to enjoy a lovely sundowner in the evenings. 

The houses are convenient whether you book as a couple or a family who requires separate living spaces. They are versatile, convenient and comfortable and would make your stay on Ithaca a memorable one.

The view is breath-taking, beautiful with the vista of villages and the sea in the distance. There is a certain sense of calm, privacy and tranquility which Kouvarata provides its guests. There is also private and secure parking available.

The location is exactly what you are looking for whilst holidaying. It is within Stavros village with the town being a five minute walk down the road and the famous Polis beach within walking distance from the town. It is a short drive to the picturesque fishing villages of Frikes or Kioni which is further along the east coast of the island.

All the mentioned villages host authentic taverna’s, late night shopping boutiques, cafe’s and bars, not to mention those strolls along the promenade during those long summer evenings. Stavros town itself, has all other conveniences such as grocery store, mini market, bakery, kiosk and pharmacy.
