December 2021:
Our team began by removing all the existing smooth cement around the pool, middle and lower outside area. The swimming pool was drained of its water and scraped down. There was a lot of preparation work to take place during this month. After that, a new slab of cement was laid over the entire outside area, on all levels; the top, middle around the swimming pool and the lower level.
MV properties has been asked to be part of another renovation project, this time pertaining to the swimming pool and outside area of this tucked away home in Stavros village.
January 2022:
The new year has just rolled on with our work continuing to progress. All the railings have been cleaned, and a coat of primer as well as two layers of black paint have been done to uplift the original dull and damaged rails. All outside areas have been repainted. We have two teams on the go, the first has begun with the natural cream stone paving which will be on all the outside levels. The second team we have has begun to create a permanent sofa smooth cement which wraps around the outside lower level along with an outside balcony bar area too.
February 2022:
The traditional stone paving is almost complete and the new modern grey tiles are being set inside the pool to create a wonderful contrast to the traditional stone paving. The balcony bar is being finished in a gorgeous cream smooth cement as well as the permanent sofa bench.
March 2022:
We love seeing a project come together, and this project is almost complete. All traditional stone paving is done and the cream smooth cement outdoor bar and seating area is also complete along with the smooth cement stairs that lead down to the lower level. The swimming pool tiles have been completed, and the lights fitted back into the swimming pool.
April 2022 & May 2022:
A beautiful new handmade wooden table and bench has been crafted and placed in the lower outside area underneath the bamboo shade. This adds the finishing touch to this outside area.
Still to complete is the new fresh white paint for the outside house walls and exterior walls. And filling the pool up with water. Watch this space for a few new photos in the next weeks to come.
The natural tones against the white house really create a crisp, clean and fresh look but still keeping to the traditional greek style. This will also be a new villa to rent this year.
