On Friday 17th of January MV Properties celebrated the grand opening of its new office in Stavros, Ithaca.
It has taken months of preparation, renovation and late nights to set up the new MV Properties offices.
We are honoured and proud to share this memorable occasion with our local community and clients from all over the world.
As the business has grown over the years, we realised the demand and advantage of having our very own space where we would be able to welcome our clients, suppliers and partners to sit down together and discuss their property opportunities.
In the North, we chose Stavros to be the town in which we lay the foundation of MV Properties.
We found the perfect location on the corner of the town square as you approach Stavros from Vathi. This traditional stone-built house which was built in 1882 was the ideal space for MV Properties.
Stavros, meaning cross, hosts a majestic and beautiful church in its main square and is indeed the economic and social hub of the North of Ithaca.
It made sense to lay our foundation in this historical town for just that reason. It is the intersection where people meet and connect just as we are your local property experts, who connect buyers and sellers of properties and manage both interests appropriately.
An authentic and contemporary working space
We proceeded with plans to convert and restore the apothiki (storeroom) into a comfortable, bright and contemporary working space.
As with most projects of this nature our vision took shape as time went on and the space guided the final aesthetic of the office.
We went with a neutral colour palette which complimented the natural stone, keeping in style with the traditional building.
We also kept the original wooden shutters and completed the outside look with an old-style rustic balustrade with a space outdoors for clients to enjoy during the summer.
We introduced a pop of colour with our company logo and motto as you enter the office. Furthermore, we chose to enhance the white-washed walls with photos showcasing the island’s beauty.
A new bathroom was installed and build around the unique stonework of the building.
Restoring this space was a real team effort and made possible by our team of contractors whose expertise contributed to the outcome of this project.
